We go every year without fail. The Webbs, Okelberrys, and Wrights. We call it WOW camping. Sweet acronym, eh? Every since I can remember, we've gone camping with these families. When we were little kids, we spent all day hiking around these little trails. We found ponds and fox holes. We named a clearing full of pinecones, Pinecone Land. We went fishing at Silver Lake. We hiked to Timp Cave. Our parents got mad at us for putting sticks in the fire and writing our names on the cement with the blackened end. We had massive water fights. It was one of the best times of the whole year.
The tradition lives on, only now, we've graduated to bigger and better things.
Yep...a Polaris RZR. Best thing of my whole life. We went off-roading all day long.
My childhood lives on through this camping trip. I love these families and can't wait for next year. :)
